Brian has worked on transactions across a variety of sectors, including manufacturing, industrials and business services, but focuses largely on consumer products. Within the consumer products sector his areas of expertise include Toys & Giftware, Apparel & Retail, as well as Personal & Beauty Care.

In addition to his deal-related responsibilities, he heads up the recruiting efforts of the firm. As part of that role, he sets the tone for finding and identifying candidates who embody the Intrepid culture and tenacity.

Prior to joining Intrepid, Brian was a Syndication Officer at CapitalSource Finance, where he focused on underwriting and syndicating leverage finance transactions. While at CapitalSource, he syndicated more than 25 loans totaling a value of more thanĀ $1.8 billion to 90 unique investors. Brian started his career in investment banking as an Analyst at Mesirow Financial Investment Banking, focusing on merger and acquisition advisory and fairness/solvency opinions.

Brian is originally from the Chicago area but now calls Los Angeles home with his wife and two young children. Spending time with his family is Brian’s priority, along with making sure his kids are raised as fans of his alma mater, the University of Michigan. Go Blue!
