Intrepid Investment Bankers, a leading middle-market investment bank and the advisory arm of global financial group MUFG, announced today that it served as an exclusive financial advisor to SCLogic on its sale to iLobby, a portfolio company of Insight Partners, the global leader in facility and visitor management for complex enterprises. This strategic combination brings together SCLogic and iLobby under the newly launched FacilityOS brand, to deliver industry leading delivery, logistics, tracking, and other facility management capabilities across global enterprises.
Founded in 1996 by Mike Saldi and headquartered in Annapolis, Maryland, SCLogic offers logistics management software focused on tracking assets within a company’s internal operations. The company tackles the challenges where people, assets, and workflows intersect through its flagship platform, Intra. Intra serves as a system of record for all important physical assets within the enterprise, monitoring their movement throughout its lifetime, delivering detailed insights to the user and supplying critical data to other systems deployed by the enterprise.
The new company, FacilityOS, will go-to-market as a unified platform to streamline delivery and facility management needs for enterprises with large, geographically spread facilities. This combination is also expected to accelerate iLobby’s product development roadmap and expand the global reach of the combined organization.
“We developed our product with the enterprise in mind, and with the goal to make the lives of facility operators easier,” remarked Mike Saldi, Founder and CEO of SCLogic. “Through the combination with iLobby, we are positioned to continue this mission of further streamlining facility operations and delivering a seamless user experience. Intrepid expertly managed the transaction, negotiating a deal that positions SCLogic for long-term success. Their team truly understood our company’s market positioning, immense growth potential, and was able to secure a partner that surpassed our expectations,” Saldi added.
“We are proud to have served as the exclusive financial advisor to Mike and the SCLogic team,” commented Christopher Park, Managing Director and Head of the Software & Services Group at Intrepid. “SCLogic is a trusted partner and the backbone of internal logistics operations for many organizations. We are eager to see what the team will be able to accomplish as FacilityOS.”
