Ken serves as a Managing Director in Intrepid’s Special Situations practice.  He has nearly 30 years of experience involving stressed, distressed, and complex M&A and financing transactions. He has led transactions in a variety of industries including retail, branded and non-branded consumer products, manufacturing, metals and mining, oil & gas, specialty finance, transportation, technology and software.

Before joining Intrepid, Ken was a Managing Director in Cowen & Company’s Special Situations Group and served as Managing Director in Conway MacKenzie’s distressed private funds practice.  Prior to that, Ken founded and was partner at Renewal Capital, a private equity fund that focused on special situation investments across the capital structure of middle market companies.  Additionally, Ken was a Partner at Gordian Group – a restructuring boutique investment bank in New York and worked at Deloitte Consulting in its strategic operations/turnaround consulting practice.

Ken is a Certified Public Accountant (inactive) and an Expert Witness in U.S. Bankruptcy Courts.

Father of two college aged daughters, Ken has new-found time on his hands and is working on his lifelong dream of being an “ok” golfer.
