Intrepid Investment Bankers, a leading middle-market investment bank and the advisory arm of global financial group, MUFG, announced that it served as the exclusive financial advisor to Denver-based private equity firm, Platte River Equity, on its acquisition of Building Controls & Solutions (BCS) from LKCM Headwater Investments.
BCS is a value-added distributor of building automation solutions (BAS), offering a comprehensive range of products and services designed to optimize building performance, enhance energy efficiency, and improve occupant comfort. BCS operates 24 branches across North America and distributes a complete suite of products across ~20,000 SKUs, including controllers, peripherals, combustion devices, and gas detectors.
