Three Intrepid colleagues were recently featured in the Los Angeles Business Journal’s new list of “Most Influential Private Equity Investors & Advisors.” The influential colleagues are Adam Abramowitz, Steve Davis, and Marvin Padilla. I am thrilled that Adam, Steve, and Marvin are being featured as three of only 40 individuals profiled as the most influential private equity investors and advisors in the Los Angeles community.
Steve recently led Intrepid in advising on the sale of the Wet Brush maker, launched Intrepid’s Beauty & Personal Care advisory practice, and has taken it to national prominence. It is one of the most active and respected M&A groups in the sector, having advised on some of the most-recognized deals in the industry, including the recent sale of direct-to-consumer deodorant brand Native to Proctor & Gamble.
Adam co-leads Intrepid’s Healthcare Group, which is experiencing great momentum. The group has several active mandates in physician practices and diagnostic labs following the successful completion of one of the largest transactions in genetic diagnostics, the sale of Ambry Genetics to Konica Minolta.
Marvin recently led Intrepid in advising on the sale of mambi, the company that makes Happy Planners, and has built Intrepid’s Apparel & Lifestyle Brands practice. Marvin has led many successful closings involving a wide range of leading apparel and accessories companies, with growing momentum in direct-to-consumer brands.
Their recognition is well deserved!
