Intrepid Investment Bankers, a leading middle-market investment bank and the advisory arm of global financial group MUFG, announced today that Terry Jiang has joined the firm as a Managing Director in its Software & Services practice. He will be based in Intrepid’s growing San Francisco office.

Terry brings over 13 years of investment banking experience advising growth-stage and middle-market software companies on transformative M&A and capital raising transactions. He has executed more than 50 transactions totaling over $7 billion in deal value, with a deep focus on vertical SaaS platforms, data/IoT, and B2B software across software sectors including energy, industrials, supply chain, logistics, government, education, and real estate / construction.

Prior to joining Intrepid, Terry was a Managing Director at Vaquero Capital, where he played a central role in the firm’s rise as a top-tier advisor to growth-oriented software businesses. He was instrumental in driving firm revenue, developing new sector coverage areas, and mentoring a high-performing team of bankers. Terry began his career with Martin Wolf Securities, supporting M&A transactions across the IT services and software sectors. He has earned industry recognition, including being named a “Rising Dealmaker Star” by the M&A Atlas Awards.

“Terry’s arrival marks another exciting step in the growth of our Software & Services practice,” said Christopher H. Park, Head of Software & Services at Intrepid. “He brings a unique blend of sector expertise, deal execution experience, and leadership that aligns perfectly with our vision. We’re thrilled to welcome him to the team and look forward to the impact he’ll make across our platform.”

“I have had the opportunity to meet some of the most passionate, talented, and driven professionals in the industry at Intrepid—at every level,” said Terry. “I was looking for a growth-oriented, scalable, and collaborative platform, and it quickly became clear that Intrepid was the place I wanted to be for the long term.”

“Deals beget deals, and I’m excited to join a talented, hardworking team with strong deal-making momentum,” he added. “Intrepid is clearly building for sustainable, long-term growth, and I’m eager to contribute to that vision. I bring a unique set of sector expertise that I believe will complement and add continued growth to the software team. I’m looking forward to collaborating with my group, as well as the broader Intrepid and MUFG teams, to deliver exceptional outcomes for our clients.”
