Intrepid Investment Bankers, a leading middle-market investment bank and the advisory arm of MUFG, a global financial group, announced that it acted as the exclusive financial advisor to BRT Extrusions, Inc. (“BRT”), a portfolio company of Corbel Capital Partners (“Corbel”) and Gallamar Group (“Gallamar”), on its sale to Can Art Aluminum Extrusions (“Can Art”).

Founded in 2005 and headquartered in Niles, Ohio, BRT is a leading regional manufacturer of custom and standard aluminum extrusions. The Company offers a broad range of value-added capabilities, including painting, thermal fill, anodizing, fabrication, design support, custom packaging, and inventory management. BRT has built a strong reputation for quality, responsive service, and technical expertise.

The transaction brings together two highly complementary businesses. Can Art is a leading North American manufacturer of aluminum extrusions with extensive fabrication, anodizing, and other value-added processing capabilities. Can Art’s scale, broad manufacturing footprint, and long-standing customer relationships complement BRT’s strong position in the Midwest and its differentiated finishing and value-added service capabilities. Together, the companies are well-positioned to expand their reach across North America, enhance service levels for customers, and pursue continued growth across attractive end markets.

“Intrepid became a trusted extension of our team throughout the transaction,” said Jeff Serota, Chief Investment Officer of Corbel Capital Partners. “Their team combined thoughtful advice with disciplined execution, helping us navigate a highly competitive process and ultimately identify the right partner for BRT. We are grateful for their commitment and pleased to have achieved an outcome that supports the Company’s next chapter of growth.”

Jeremiah Mann, Managing Director and Head of Intrepid’s Industrials & Business Services practice, added, “BRT has developed into a highly respected extrusion platform with differentiated value-added capabilities, longstanding customer relationships, and a reputation for exceptional service. We believe the combination with Can Art creates a stronger organization with greater scale, broader capabilities, and an expanded geographic footprint.”
