Over his 12-year investment banking career, Steve has built a strong track record of successfully advising clients on strategic M&A transactions and across the capital structure. He is responsible for both new business development and day-to-day transaction execution.
As part of the Media & Entertainment team at Intrepid, Steve provides deep expertise and senior coverage across the Digital Audio & Music, Sports & Sports Tech, and Out-of-Home Entertainment verticals. He specializes in telling the stories of dynamic, tech-enabled businesses through strategic M&A and capital-raising transactions.
Steve began his investment banking career at Cowen in 2014, where he helped build out the M&A practice as part of the TMT team, before the firm was acquired by TD Securities (“TDS”) in 2023. At TDS, Steve led Digital Media and Entertainment investment banking coverage.
While at Penn State, Steve was a captain of the men’s basketball team and helped lead the team to an NIT Championship (2009) and an NCAA Tournament Appearance (2011). Although playing hoops has fallen down his priority list, Steve still enjoys rooting for his favorite sports teams (Warriors, Commanders), staying active outdoors with his son Rory, and exploring the Bay Area restaurant scene with his wife, Morgan.
