Ahmed joined Intrepid as an Analyst in 2025. He supports mergers and acquisitions for private equity-backed and founder-led healthcare companies, collaborating closely with senior bankers and clients through all stages of transaction execution, due diligence, and financial analysis.

Prior to joining Intrepid, Ahmed was an Investment Banking Analyst in the U.S. M&A group at CIBC Capital Markets, where he focused exclusively on sell-side advisory. At CIBC, he successfully completed transactions across multiple sectors including healthcare, software, consumer, and sports entertainment, and contributed extensively to strategic pitches in industrials and infrastructure.

Ahmed previously held a Corporate Banking internship at BMO Harris Bank, providing analytical and credit support for public and private institutional clients across metals, transportation and logistics, and business services industries. Earlier in his career, he interned at the Legislative Assembly of Ontario, assisting with policy research and constituent engagement.

Originally from Houston and raised in Canada, Ahmed has also lived in the Middle East. His international upbringing shaped his global perspective and adaptability in dynamic professional environments.

Outside of work, Ahmed enjoys spending time outdoors and is an avid traveler who has visited more than 25 countries. He is passionate about experiencing diverse cultures and cuisines.
