Intrepid Investment Bankers, a leading middle-market investment bank and the advisory arm of global financial group MUFG, announced today that Rory Dineen has joined the firm as a Managing Director in its Food, Beverage & Agriculture practice. Dineen is based in Intrepid’s growing office in Charlotte, NC.

With more than 15 years of experience in mergers & acquisitions and private equity, Dineen brings deep sector expertise and a strong track record advising high-growth companies across the food and beverage landscape. He joins Intrepid from Fifth Third Securities, where he led the firm’s Food, Beverage & Wellness investment banking practice. Prior to that, he spent eight years at Deloitte Corporate Finance and its predecessor McColl Partners, a boutique M&A advisory firm. Earlier in his career, Dineen held roles at Wachovia Securities and CMS Companies.

“Rory’s appointment reflects our continued investment in building a best-in-class advisory platform for the food and beverage industry,” said Brian Levin, Head of Food, Beverage & Agriculture at Intrepid. “His experience, relationships, and passion for the sector make him a tremendous addition to our team as we deepen our capabilities and expand our reach coast-to-coast.”

“This is an exciting opportunity to build on established momentum in food, beverage, & agricultural successes at Intrepid while also contributing to growing the firm's profile in the eastern US,” said Dineen. “I have been an admirer of Intrepid's methodical expansion of its platform and have gotten to know its professionals in a transaction setting. There is no better way to vet approach and fit.”

Dineen earned a bachelor’s degree in economics from Wake Forest University and an MBA from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business.
